press: are you going to get a haircut at all?

beatle: i had one yesterday.

long before their grey gardens days, albert and david maysles documented the beatles' trip. we've all seen footage of band performing on the sullivan show, but the film's intro includes the band's arrival, their first u.s. press conference, and a few unguarded moments in the hotel room:

buy the maysles brother's film here: the beatles - the first u.s. visit.
